Many of your Prime Day orders are being handled by Roomba-esque bots as part of Amazon's quest to deliver packages faster.

At the University of Basel in Switzerland, engineers are developing a wine cork-sized robotic device capable of removing the necessary portions of a tooth in need after scanning it in a single visit. This Miniature Intraoral Robot (MIR) would allow dentists to order the crown at the same time, minimizing the number of return appointments.

Robots guest-star in others. A four-legged robot belonging to a team member head-butted a soccer ball on Day 14. Two days later, the team’s world-championship build from 2019, a bot named Armstrong, lifted a kickball into the air and rolled it to a teammate.
