cineatomy on Instagram: "Full story below 🤓👇 The iconic scene in Pretty Woman (1990) where Richard Gere snaps a jewelry box on Julia Roberts’ fingers - prompting her famously genuine laugh - was completely improvised on the day. Director Garry Marshall has revealed that it was originally a prank for the gag reel. At just 23, Roberts would sometimes show up to set a bit sleepy after nights out. “I said, ‘Richard, you gotta wake her up a little - so when she reaches for the box, slam it,’” Marsh

the_hemie on Instagram: "🎥 Fun fact about Pretty Woman (1990): Julia Roberts' iconic laugh during the jewelry box scene — when Richard Gere snaps the box shut as she's about to touch the necklace — was completely unscripted. It was actually a playful prank by Gere, and Roberts’ genuine reaction was so charming that the director, Garry Marshall, decided to keep it in the final cut! .. .. .. #reels #songs #noah #fyp #reelsinstagram #trending"
